K-Sun Corporation Leading the Market in Industrial Identification Solutions The Core Business Founded in 1978, K-Sun Corporation started as a manufacturer of proprietary printing cartridges for electronic labeling machines. The Company sold its products through independent resellers worldwide. During expansion efforts in 1987, K-Sun established a relationship with Brother International by distributing Brother P-Touch labeling machines on an exclusive basis. Today, the alliance between the two companies continues. K-Sun functions as a national distributor for Brother P-Touch products. In the same year, K-Sun also acquired MaxiSoft®, Inc. a safety and identification software development company in Reno, NV. MaxiSoft® broadened K-Sun's product base by adding computer technology as well as specific industrial identification software for making safety signs, pipe marking, chemical labeling and more. Some of the MaxiSoft® software products use specialized K-Sun printers to produce high quality, industrial grade identification materials made by AzCoat. During September 2002, K-Sun acquired Doll Products Inc. based in Knoxville, TN. Doll products Inc. was a distributor of labeling machines and supplies and manufacturer of the Accu-Line Design System.
